Message I was looking at both [ www.conceptzperformance.com ] and [ www.z1motorsports.com ] for their 120k Timing Belt Service Kits.
Here are the links to the 'basic complete kits'

CZP - [ http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=434&Car_Type=NIS300&UID=20081105042715208.79.15.100 ]

Z1 - [ http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=4_36_110&products_id=1680 ]

For the most part they are exactly the same, except that CZP has:

Water Pump Gasket
Crankshaft Sprocket Spacers(F+R)
Idler Pulleys, Timing Belt x2
Idler Pulley Studs/Washers/Nuts x2

I'm sure these parts don't add up to $160 to make the price match. So, from this point it looks like the Z1 is a better deal.

Now for upgrades for each you can get:
CZP - (Add on $160)
GreddyTiming Belt
Nismo Thermostat
JWT (VTC)Variable Timing Control Springs x2

Z1 - (Add on $184)
Nismo Thermostat
PE KEVLAR Timing Belt

For these upgrades, I understand it can give me a stronger timing belt, cooler thermostat, and hardened VTC springs (CZP's only). But, asking from everyone on here about which they have, and think/like more?

Now that the Basic vs. Performance kits are put up against each other, at the same time I'll be upgrading the Crank Pulley and possibly the Water Pump at the same time. I was looking at these different choices:

Edge - (with belts $135)

Unorthodox - (with belts $200)

AMS - (with belts $170)

As far as the Water pump, both Z1 and CZP have one that does about the same. One's just AMS and the other Unorthodox for about the same price.

So, overall I have a lot of questions about a little topic, but I hope that you guys can give me some imput on this. Thank you all for your time.
